T.J. Lane Astropsychology of a serial shooter

Once again we have heard of a school shooting this time in my home state of Ohio. There are always  many theories that surround why these happen and what makes the people that commit these acts tick. I will try to use Astrology here to see what causes the mental cracks in someone and what they may be thinking or feeling as the news reports often just focus on the sensational aspects of these events.

I will at some point do a bigger blog on serial shooters but today we’re going to take a look at T.J. Lane’s chart who shot 5 fellow students at Chardon High School near Cleveland. I was passed his Birth date from a friend who got it from the court transcript as being September 19^th 1994.

In the many charts I have looked at for people who have committed mass and or random acts of violence I have found a few factors that appear. 1. A tendency to anger or violence [ this is usually a Mars/Pluto function ] 2. An ability to shut off their emotions or for cruelty [ this is often a Saturn / Pluto function ]3. A psychological break of some kind or the inability to separate their needs from the needs of others, or an obsessive type personality [ This is often a Neptune / Uranus/Pluto  function ].

In looking at the chart for T.J. we see he has a heavy preponderance of Water in his chart. Venus, Jupiter, North Node and Pluto all in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer and Saturn in Pisces.  We do not have a time of birth but the Moon is also very likely in Pisces unless he was born very close to Midnight on the night of September 19^th.

This is a person who is extremely sensitive to his environment and is probably easily overwhelmed by his emotions and takes any sort of criticism extremely hard. Water signs or people with lots of Water in their charts almost have no defenses from the outside world at times and while they may appear quiet or shy on the outside there is lots going on underneath the surface. Someone with this much Water certainly had a very active imagination and would escape into a fantasy world whenever they felt threatened.

Not to make any excuses but from reading the stories in the media he had a very abusive and traumatic childhood. Different people handle this different ways but the natural function of Pluto and Scorpio [ the sign that it rules ] is Death, Transformation and rebirth. It is said that people with heavy Scorpio influence in their charts die many times within one lifetime as their main goal on a soul level is to transform. They want to shed the old parts of themselves that are no longer useful and they attain this by creating [ sometimes subconsciously ] or being put in  situations where they are not in control of their environment or where they are abandoned. Many souls with heavy Scorpionic energy have a hard time getting over the past if they do not know how to deal with the intense energy Pluto brings with it. When this “steam” is not able to be let off gradually it festers and can release itself in rage when the energy gets too intense.

Saturn in Pisces is a difficult placement , on the good side it can be someone who is very artistic or perhaps works in the music industry [ Pisces / Neptune rule music] or in the Shipping industry [ Neptune rules Water and the Oceans]. On the negative side it can be expressed as someone who is very fearful or paranoid or has delusions. Saturn rules  structures, including the structure of consciousness . Saturn rules Capricorn which is one of the most stable and goal orientated signs while Pisces is very dreamy and idealistic, this can be a difficult combo to navigate if you don’t understand the mechanics of what you’re working with.

Also we have a Neptune Uranus conjunction here in the sign of Capricorn. Neptune rules Pisces so again we have the repeating Capricorn /Pisces theme. In fact have Saturn and Neptune in mutual reception which means each of those 2 planets are in the sign that the other one rules. This usually means that these planets work well with each other but being that Pisces and Capricorn are so different in how they perceive things this can lead to a break between what is real and what is not real. Adding in the Uranus in Capricorn conjunct Neptune can lead to odd obsessions or mental “ticks” if you will. Uranus and Neptune both have to do with subliminal and subconscious mental patterns.

Mars in Cancer is an archetype of someone who can be very nurturing when they feel safe but when they feel threatened they can defend themselves fiercely. This is the motherly instinct of Cancer mixed with the warrior of Mars.

To go back to the Scorpio theme again Lane had Venus, Jupiter and the North Node all conjunct in Scorpio and the North Node also conjunct Pluto this is someone who was very intense and was going to make a big impact somehow, unfortunately it was in a misuse of this powerful energy. which is the branch of Astrology that I most identify with, that says “ things that aren’t dealt with become repressed ,that which is repressed  becomes distorted,  things that are distorted eventually release themselves in rage.” Also on a more literal level Pluto rules death, the North Node is the future and Jupiter magnifies anything that it touches.

One other thing in the chart that stands out is that Mars, Pluto and the Moon form a normally positive aspect called a “Grand Trine” in Water signs. Water is associated with emotions and normally this pattern is someone who is very sensitive to others and intuitive. However, Water can turn dark quicker than other elements because there is so much emotion packed into every event.  While the Grand Trine configuration can be very self-sufficient it can also feel isolated. The Mars Pluto Trine is usually harmonious but is always an explosive mix as It contains a huge amount of energy and is liable to explode when it feels hurt or threatened.

The last piece of the puzzle is the Sun in Virgo, Virgo wants to take corrective action or fix things that it feels is wrong. It can also be overly analytical and operate out of a continual crises mode when stressed.

At the time of the shootings Mars was retrograde [ or moving backwards and felt more internally than normal ] and it was just past a conjunction to his Sun and was making aspects to almost every planet in his chart. Mars retrograde tends to lead to feelings of frustration especially in a busy, active sign like Virgo thus turning up the pressure cooker.

Again, this is not to make excuses for any actions but to try and help explain why sometimes people make the rash decisions that they do. Psychology is important in understanding these events as are cultural conditions as well as having help available to people who have been through traumatic situations. My main point here is that using the Birth Chart can be a powerful tool combined with other knowledge in helping to make sure we see these kinds of tragedies less often.

Generation x :rise of the slacker

I’m going to speak to a certain group of people now. This may appeal to others as well but I’m particularly speaking to the people of my generation, Generation X , if you will. There is much debate about when the Generations actually start and end but I have correlated the different generations with their Pluto signs as I think each generation has their own power structure and their own mark to make on society. Pluto is the Planet [or Planetoid you choose ] that rules how we evolve as a society and individually.

 I have seen Gen X as starting anywhere from either side of 1965 going on through to as late as 1982.I put it as 10/20/1956 to 07/30/1972 But to narrow it down I am looking even more at the group with the tight Uranus Pluto conjunction in Virgo say from the dates 08/1962 to 12/1969.

We have been called slackers and spent a large part of our time nonconforming and raging against corporate America and other fun activities. It just so happens now that as many of  us should be in the middle of our “careers” or easing into middle age it is our turn to step up to the plate and leave our mark as a generation.

Having  spent much time disenchanted with the main stream and ignoring marketing ploys sent to us through our tv’s and computers we are now staring down our futures and realizing that the world isn’t any less screwed up than when we first started ridiculing it. As a collective our Generation is now being activated by retrograde mars running amok through Virgo which is activating said Uranus Pluto conjunction. Also Chiron is back in Pisces which it was when those of us in the ballpark of 50 to either side were born. Thirdly Neptune, which rules our imagination is now in the sign of Pisces and starting to form an opposition to our natal Uranus Pluto conjunctions. Lastly, Pluto is currently in the sign of Capricorn forming a trine to our Uranus Pluto Natal conjunctions.

The people born between August of 1962 and December of 1969 are being awakened to make their mark in the world and help everyone heal on a physical and psychic level.

The Uranus Pluto conjunction in Virgo in the Birth charts for these people has lent itself to being very analytical and skeptical of information we are being told. I know few people in our age group that get their news from the mainstream media. I know many that are single, divorced , never been married or don’t have children , much more so than any other generation near us. I think this is good that we aren’t gullible or naïve and that we look into things for ourselves. However, this can breed a sense of constant inner dissatisfaction that can be hard to overcome. Are we too cynical for our own good?

This conjunction is being activated by Mars transit through Virgo. Mars went into Virgo November 9^th of last year, turned retrograde on January 23^rd of this year, will station and go forward on April 13^th and finish its visit through Virgo the first week of July. Now Mars is very aggressive by nature and works on an instinctual level, Virgo is very analytical and anal retentive, to a fault sometimes, but great at fixing problems. When Mars is retrograde its energy is turned inwards, so Mars has a lot of things to fix while it’s in Virgo, but when the energy is turned inwards it becomes frustrated and irritable. It wants to fix many things and usually at the same time as the Virgo frenetic energy can work on many things simultaneously when undisturbed. This frustration leads to a sense of introspection to analyze what is worth doing and what is just busy work. Discriminate between what activities or battles are of value and what is just OCD. What is the fix for this?

As mentioned earlier Neptune and Chiron are both in the sign of Pisces and traveling very close together and they will be opposing the Uranus and Neptune in our charts in a couple years so now is the time to start visualizing or imagining [ Neptune ] what kind of a world we want to live in and what we want it to look like. Neptune is about faith and seeing the connectedness is all living things. We need a healthy balance between faith that there is a purpose to things that happen and skepticism. Too far to either side and you become delusional on one side and jaded on the other. We do have a purpose here sometimes it just takes a little while to find it.

Chiron is an Asteroid and it is known as the wounded healer and it’s where we get our ability to heal ourselves and others on a holistic level. Mind, body, soul . We must visualize ourselves as one cohesive unit  and balance out the Virgo tendency to compartmentalize and over analyze. Chiron and Neptune in Pisces is about healing the schism of Uranus and Pluto in Virgo.

The last pieces was Pluto is in Capricorn , this is forming a Trine to Virgo which means they are harmonious energies and they are easily able to work together. Pluto is about transformation amongst other things and Capricorn is about self accountability. We must hold ourselves as a group accountable for what we don’t like in the world even if we weren’t willfully complicit it is still ours to analyze [ Virgo ]what is wrong and help to fix [ Chiron ]it . We can either spin further out of control right now or we can seize this opportunity to overthrow [ Uranus ] the power structures [ Pluto ] we don’t like in our world by holding them accountable [ Capricorn ]. These may be inner or outer structures , they may be a controlling boss, an addiction, a Government , whatever is negatively controlling us . This is the time be the change in the world that we want to see.

Astrology Super Bowl preview

Once again it’s time for the big event that everyone looks forward to all year … the best 3 hours of TV Commercials you’ll see all season!! No, just kidding, it’s the Super Bowl. I’m sure everyone’s had their fill of pregame hype so I’ll try to keep this short.

Here are the hot spots for this game : Neptune has just entered Pisces ,Saturn turns retrograde at29 Libra on Feb. 6^th , Mars is now Retrograde at 22 Virgo, and Venus is at 27 Pisces. We’ll quickly look at what this means.

 Above is the chart for the Patriot , Mars in Virgo has been their friend and they’ve only lost once since Mars went into Virgo [ their last loss being to the Giants ] . However , Mars is now retrograde ¸this turns it’s energy inwards which is not what you want.

Above is the chart for the Giants , the main thing for the Giants this year has been Pluto in Capricorn.   Pluto is a planet of power but it can also be self undoing. Interesting enough Eli Manning and Hakeem Nicks for the Giants are both Capricorn’s and they have been able to focus their power. Pluto is also conjunct their Jupiter and opposite their natal Pluto. This would kill many teams but the Giants have been able to use the Pluto influence [ death , rebirth, regeneration ] to their benefit. Also Venus is conjunct Uranus in the Giants chart right now.

The main energy in Bill Belichek’s chart has been Uranus , the planet of surprise and excitement has figured prominently in his chart this year with his Venus and Mercury being conjunct Uranus at 8 Aries.

Tom Coughlin’s chart has been most affected by Saturn this year, this is learning from mistakes and overcoming hardships ,in particular all of the injuries they had early in the season. Saturn is conjunct Coughlin’s Jupiter giving him the ability to make wise decisions when things have gone bad.

Here is the chart for the game. Moon is at 22 Cancer to start game .The Moon is conjunct Pluto in the Giants chart and moving towards their Norh Node which is destiny. The Giants Pluto ends up in the 10^th house at games end. This could mean self destruction late in the game but the Giants have done so well with the Plutonian energy this year that the opposite meaning of coming to power appears to have a better chance of happening. Venus in late Pisces and Neptune just moving into Pisces favors the underdog which is the Giants.

 Saturn [ offense/ strategy ] starts out in the third house of Mental communication to start the game so I think the offenses will be very effective in this game.

     The Moon is exactly trine the Giants Uranus to start the game favoring excitement and the ability to adapt to change. Again ,Pluto could bite the Giants but they have done so well with the Plutonian energy that I expect them to create the defensive pressure needed to keep Brady in check .

     I like the Giants Pluto energy to outweigh it’s little brother Mars and the Giants pull this one out 30-27.

Neptune in Pisces

 Every year there are many times when a Planet changes Signs, some of Planets change Signs several times a year such as Venus and Mercury and the Sun. The outer Planets stay in a sign much longer so on the rare year when one of the outers switches signs it is noticed much more because of the slow transit time of the Planet. Most of the outer Planets have changed signs recently and we will have Saturn, which is kind of the bridge between the inner and outer Planets, moving into Scorpio in October. The only true Outer Planet changing Signs this year is Neptune which will be leaving Aquarius and moving into  Pisces on February 3^rd. This movement has additional weight because Neptune is the ruling Planet for Pisces, this is akin to a Sports team having Home Field Advantage in a game. Neptune is comfortable and at home in Pisces and is able to do its work without any adjustment needed.

Now we got a preview of what to expect from this last year when Neptune went into Pisces from April 4^th through August 11^th when Neptune was retrograde and went back into Aquarius for a last visit. Neptune went direct again on November 9^th last year and will move into Pisces for the next 14 years roughly on Feb. 3^rd at 2:03 p.m. est . One helpful thing to do is look at what was going on in your life from April through early August last year as kind of a sneak preview. Shortly we’ll look at what kind of things Neptune rules so you can see where it’s effects may have been felt.

 Neptune was discovered on September 23^rd, 1846 which is usually the last day of the sign of Virgo which is Pisces opposite oddly enough. So Neptune has now made a complete transit through the Zodiac and is now returning to the point where it was originally discovered so now the big question is what can we expect?

Well first of all we look at ruler ship, what does Neptune and Pisces rule? It rules water of all sorts, music, arts, dreams, intuition, psychic abilities, ocean life, secrets and hidden things, faith and spirituality. It also rules gases, the underdog , Anaesthesia , contagions and disease, mass delusions and  victimization as well as addiction.

Pisces and it’s opposite rules the Sadism [ Virgo ] masochism [ Pisces ] polarity as well as the analytical left brain [ Virgo ] and the visual , picture orientated right brain [ Pisces] .

The other part of seeing what is to come is looking at what happened in the past. The first year or so after Neptune was discovered there were several big jumps or inventions in Neptune / Piscean areas.

There was a Cholera [ Contagion / Disease ] outbreak in England , wide scale famine [ scarcity usually caused by being victimized by your Government  ]in Ireland, first rotary printing press [ right brain pictures ] patented , ether  [Anaesthesia /was used for the first time for a painless Dental procedure.

So, what can we expect ….and how do we deal with these things ? We can expect to see issues regarding Water purity and resources and of course we will also have our Tsunami’s and our infectious disease scares and terrorist “ threats” of all kind and other  fearful things that can come from Neptune insecurity.

On the flip side we can expect increased spirituality, getting better in touch with psychic energies ,being more intune with our emotions and feeling more empathetic towards the plight of others as Neptune is all about “ we are all one” and realizing that we are all droplets of water in the same ocean.

What else can we expect? Well Neptune is very foggy and it tends to blur the lines between things especially between reality and illusion. We will see things that seem incredible and things that don’t seem real in the media. We will have to listen to our intuition and the Piscean balance of Virgo to be able to discriminate between what is real and what is not.

The Asteroid Chiron is also in the sign of Pisces right now and it is traveling very closely with Neptune and it has to do with how we heal ourselves and how we deal with our emotional and psychic wounds. We are in a time where we can heal long enduring trauma’s and old pains that have been eating at us for a long time. This can be accomplished through the Neptunian lesson of learning faith and realizing that things happen for a reason and through using Chiron’s wisdom to find how to heal ourselves.

With Uranus traveling full speed through Aries we will at times feel that the train is speeding out of control with no one at the wheel or that we are driving very fast through a fog bank. Again we must be in tune with our intuition to keep our bearing straight.

This may be a very roller coasterish ride but if we can keep our spiritual focus and remember that it’s people that really matter we can come through this with an increased sense of community and help each other through this period.

Remember we are not physical beings going through a spiritual existence, we are spiritual entities evolving through a physical body. All of the things we see others going through , good or bad, is just another step in remembering who we are and why we are here.

Sports Astrology: Earth signs and the NFL Playoffs

The planet Jupiter stays in a sign for about one year at a time and for most of this past year it has been in the sign of Taurus. Jupiter usually has to do with luck as well as learning amongst other things. We all get Jupiter in the same sign as our sun one out of every 12 years. After looking at the charts of some players I decided to look at some of the Qb's that were born under the ign of Taurus to see how they did . The 2 starting qb's I found first were Cam Newton and Alex Smith . Cam was the no.1 pick in the NFL Draft but many were skeptical if he could translate that to the NFL level. Alex was the no.1 pick a few years back but had had a rocky NFL career to this point.

Cam plays for the Carolina Panthers who are in a rebuilding phase and only won a couple of games last year and weren't expected to do much. Surprisingly the Panthers improved from 2 wins to 6 and Newton will finish in the top 3 for certain in Rookie of the Year voting if he doesn't in fact win it.

Alex Smith had won and lost the starting QB job for San Francisco several times and many were surprised when they decided to bring him back for this season. Smith had his best season by leaps and bounds this year and led the 49ers tp the second best record in the league at 13-3.Coincidence ?

Also the 2 other Earth signs, Virgo and Capricorn, form favorable aspects to Taurus and with Pluto in the sign of  Capricorn this entire season and Mars in Virgo for the last few months of the season I wondered if there were any other Earth signs still hanging around in the playoffs.What I found is that the coaches of 3 of the 4 remaining teams in the playoffs are either Capricorn [ Jim Harbaugh] or Virgo [ John Harbaugh, Tom Coughlin ] and two of the other remaining starting QB's [ Joe Flacco, Eli Manning ] are Capricorn's  as well. 

The best Wide Reciever in the playoffs so far ..Hakeem Nicks [ Capricorn] . Most Recieving yards in the playoffs.Demaryius Thomas [ Caprisorn].The all time NFL regular season record for passing yards for a season was broken this year by Drew Brees [ Capricorn] . Leading Rusher in the Playoffs so far ..Arian Foster  [Virgo ].
Am I done yet?  nope.The NFL Playoff record for TD catches in a half of a playoff game was set last week by Rob Gronkowski ...Taurus.

Just a note of reference..there are 4 elements so you should only have 25% of the four remaining coaches or Quarterbacks be of the same element not %75 . But afte rall Astrology is just bunk ..right?

Sports Astrology NFL Playoffs pt.2

I went 2 and 2 last week missing the 2 AFC games and I got 2 requests for updated predictions for this weeks  games so I am actually posting the charts for game time of all 4 games [ give or take a minute ]. I’m still taking the 4 teams I had winning originally in this round to win still but I thought I’d give a little additional info to the games.

In Football Saturn is offense [ strategy ] and Uranus is Defense [ creating chaos ] so that’s some of what I’ll be using to predict the scores.

Above is the chart for the Saints- 49ers on Saturday. Venus recently into Pisces and Neptune conjunct in the 10^th house looks for a game that could favor the underdog but also look for deception , trickery or a mental lapse or error being important in the game. Near the end of the game Mercury  and  Pluto should be on the midheaven of the game chart and Uranus close to the ascendant so I would expect lots of excitement late. I would think that it will take some key strategy and leadership [ Capricorn] to take control of the game late. I expect the Saints to win but I think the 49ers will be in the game the whole way but the Saints are too powerful.  Gemini in the first House to start game , Gemini ruler Mercury is conjunct  Pluto I like that to favor the favored Saints.The Moon is conjunct the 49ers Neptune and the Saints Mercury I like those to favor the Saints decision making. I’m taking the Saints 31-19.

This is the second game Saturday . The fighting Tebow’s vs. the Patriots. Denver is the only team with a winning record vs. the Patriots since 2000. Strangely enough these 2 teams have the sane Birthday as they played each other in their initial games on September 9^th 1960 so it’s almost like the Broncos have an immunity to the Patriots wiley tricks. Pluto will be approaching the Descendant , Mars in the third and Uranus in the 9^th as the game ends. The teams charts are useless as they are exactly the same here. Mars is in first house as game starts I like that to favor Patriots as they are the favorite and the home team. Pats eventually  34-23.

Venus just recently into Pisces sits on the MC as the game starts as does Neptune. This features the underdog early. The Sun in Capricorn sits on the MC as the game ends . The Moon in Libra favors balance and a close game.North Node is in 7^th and it’s ruler is Jupiter is in 12^th that could mean trickery or lack of energy for Texans. The Moon is conjunct Ravens chiron and North Node and it is past the  Texans Libra Moon. I like the Texans to hang very tough but the Ravens come out the victor 24-16.

Uranus in the10th to start this game expect lots of excitement early. Moon still in Libra so I expect it to be a close back and fourth game . Mars is getting ready to make a station next week and is starting to slow down. The Giants will be a handful but the Moon has past the Giants Mars and transiting Mars is almost on top of the Packers Natal Mars. Packers 34-28.

Sports Astrology NFL Playoffs with Astrology

Greetings  friends , Sports fans and Astrology enthusiasts [ and alos those that are just bored surfing the web for insignificant blogs ] . Welcome to my second annual NFL Playoff prediction blog using Astrology and I promise limited commercial interruptions.

First a quick review of my predictions from the beginning of the season which you can find in the September archives on this very blog site. I correctly picked 6 teams records exactly and was within 1 game on 6 others. I correctly picked 5 of the 8 Division winners correctly and 7 of the 12 playoff teams correctly . Not great but over 50% and I‘ll put that up against the top prognosticator’s out there. 3 of the 4 teams I had making the conference championship games won 13 games or more and won their divisions. My big miss was Phillip Rivers being MVP and the San Diego Chargers actually being good, those Uranus transits can be tricky is all I can say there.

Okay enough excuses here’s my playoff predictions.

NFC

Wildcard round

[ 4] NY Giants over Atlanta – The Giants are hot , Mars is past the Virgo stellium in Atlanta’s chart and the Moon of the game chart is conjunct Pluto in the Giants chart ..they will be focused, powerful and will control the game..take the Giants here , Atlanta will not match their intensity.

[3] Saints over [6] Lions- The lions had a great season and finally made the Playoffs again but Drew Brees had a record breaking season. The Lions will put up a good fight in a very high scoring game but the Saints but Mars is applying to the Saints Pluto , Uranus , Sun triple conjunction here ,sorry Lions , just too powerful. The Lions chart looks great for next year so heads up Lions fans , you had a great season.

Divisional Playoffs

[3] Saints over [2] 49ers- The 49ers had a great season and shockingly won 13 games under new coach Jim Harbaugh . The bad news is Mars has passed the energy part in the 49ers chart. Too much offense by the Saints

[1] Packers over [4] Giants – The Moon is sitting on the Packers Mars , they will be hyped and full of energy here . Nice try Giants but the defending champs emotion will not be matched by the Giants on this day.

NFC CHAMPIONSHIP

[ 3] Saints over [1] Packers- This was the toughest of all to pick. I think these are the 2 best teams in the NFL and I picked the Packers to repeat at the beginning of the season. These teams met in the first game of the season and it was the best game of the year with the Packers stopping the Saints at the goal line on the last play of the game. The difference between these 2 teams is almost nothing. The Moon is in Capricorn at game time and that usually favors the visiting team as it allows them to neutralize the Home field advantage a bit. Both of these teams have the 3 transits needed to win it all. After seeing the teams play through the regular season I ‘m going back on my pick from the beginning of the season and I ‘m taking the Saints by the slimmest of margins, this is literally a toss up and the last team to have the ball will probably win but I ‘m taking the Saints in the slight upset here. Last year Saturn was a symbol of destiny in the Packers chart and represented limitations in the Saints chart, this year it’s reversed. Saturn giveth , and Saturn taketh away.

AFC

WILDCARD ROUND

[6] Bengals over  [3] Texans – Houston finally broke through and won their division and are making their first playoff appearance but have had a ton of injuries and are down to their rookie QB . The Bengals and Texans both have rookie QB’s playing but unfortunately for the Texans Mars is sitting right on the Bengals Pluto on this day. The Bengals will impose their will and win their first playoff game since1990,the Texans had a good season but their good transits are passed .

[5] Steelers over [4] Broncos – The fighting Tebow’s shocked people this year  but Tebow’s transits have cooled and the Pittsburgh Defense is just too good. The Moon in the game chart is applying to the Steelers Pluto and Jupiter is also conjunct Uranus in the Steelers natal chart. Too much energy , too much emotion and focus , Steel curtain wins this none.

Divisional Round

[1] Patriots over [6] Bengals – not the laugher you think. Both teams have good Mars transits on this day. This will be close , the Bengals will find enough holes in the Pats d to stay with them. I look for the Patriots in a very close game, the Bengals will stick with them the whole way. I would not rule out an upset but I ‘ll take the Pats in a very close one.

[2] Ravens over [5] Steelers – This is probably the best rivalry in the NFL right now, these guys hate each other. The Moon in the game chart here is just past the Moon in the chart for Pittsburgh and Jupiter is sitting on the Moon in the Ravens chart. I think the Ravens will have just a bit more intensity here, get a lucky bounce or 2 and beat the Steelers for the third time this year in a close , defensive battle.

AFC CHAMPIONSHIP

[2] Ravens over [1] Patriots – This is a tough one , but the Ravens have Pluto sitting on their Jupiter and their Nodes are activated by a square from Pluto and Uranus . The Ravens could self destruct  with too many turnovers here, but I don’t think so , no one on the AFC side can quite match their intensity. I pick the Ravens to win the AFC , Ray Rice has been too good this year.

SUPER BOWL

The Moon is applying to Mars in the Ravens chart here, that’s always a good aspect. Saturn is conjunct the South Node in the Saints chart at this time. They had a big aspect to their South Node 2 years ago also when they won their first Super Bowl. The Ravens will keep the Saints in check until late in the game here. Mars is still sitting right in the middle of the Saints Virgo stellium and it’s almost stationary concentrating that energy. I look for the Saints to win this one late in a close game.

If the Packers do defeat the Saints in the NFC Championship game I look for the Packers here in a close one also. I think the Ravens are just a notch below the 2 NFC teams offensively.
